When it comes to websites of course there are mainly information based such as news, guides, recipes, maybe a bit of suspicious advertisements here and there. But today my friends I would like to introduce to you something we call an ARG (Alternate Reality Game) Website. 

So what is a ARG Website you may ask. It is where a website is giving information of something that doesn't exist at all. A completely different reality, a world that we never knew existed. This websites seems to be normal on the surface but for those who likes secrets can find so many, or even too many hidden secrets hiding in plain sight.

The website I am referring to is called 'Welcome Home'. It is masking as a restoration project for a long forgotten cartoon series called Welcome Home. This series is about a small town of colours and fun flowing through the houses and of course, neighbours! In this series you as a new neighbour will get to meet all the other neighbours and befriend one another. 

The site itself gives information about the series itself, the characters, merchandise and even having fans write back to show their gratitude from the support. But in between the lines, you can find hidden links scattered through out the site bringing you more unsettling truth behind the series and the restoration project itself.

Personally, I am a huge fan of alternate reality games where you can get to explore and uncover new backstory to each characters and world building but still have that feeling ta\hat all of this could actually be real. It's a fairly unsettling feeling but I live for that.
