One thing I like to mention that I think can be considered as Shrinkflation is how bad some of the clothes quality has become!
The fashion industry is a staple to everyone. the rich, the poor, the adults and children you name it. The only difference between these group of people are the type of fashion they require to buy. For the rich most of them are unaffected by the drop of quality because the higher fashion brands would only need to raise their price and not lose their customer. But for most of us we tend to look towards fast fashion and try to at least find a good piece of clothing that can last us for a minimum of 5 years on frequent use, and if possible, forever!
Unfortunately lately the quality of the clothing not only in terms of material but also the design has been lacking to the point where some pieces of clothing makes you wonder "Why in the world are they selling this-" One example that I get really annoyed about is crop tops. I can barely find a normal length shirt nowadays in the woman's section which by the way, why is everything cropped! Do they only cater to one style only?? It truly annoys me.

Oh I never thought of that! Way to cut corners and save money! Now short sleeves are popular because it uses less fabric, how clever!!
